NASA asked HOVS to create an identity for its Europa Clipper mission, in which a spacecraft will investigate Jupiter’s moon Europa for the ingredients for life. We designed the logo to reflect the clipper’s orbit of Jupiter, where it will dip in and out of the planet's dangerous radiation zone to collect research samples from its icy moon.
 

But first, the clipper needs to travel 1.8 billion miles into space. The Europa Clipper spacecraft, with our symbol on the side, is set to arrive in 2030.
